Graduation
The University of North Carolina Wilmington offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Fine Arts in creative writing, the Bachelor of Music, the Bachelor of Science, or the Bachelor of Social Work at the undergraduate level and the Master of Arts, the Master of Science, the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, the Master of Arts in Teaching, the Master of Education, the Master of School Administration, the Master of Public Administration, the Master of Business Administration, the Master of Science in Accountancy, the Master of Science in Nursing, the Master of Social Work, the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership & Administration, the Doctor of Philosophy in Marine Biology, and certificate programs at the graduate level.
Latin Honors for Spring 2023 will be calculated twice – prior to the ceremony with the student’s most recent term GPA, and again after final grades are posted. Latin Honors will print on student’s transcripts and diploma. Students will be notified via email if they qualify for a distinction. Distinction cords will be distributed prior to the in-person commencement ceremony.
