Applying to Graduate

Students may apply for gradation in any current or future term for which they are enrolled at UNCW (Undergraduate & Graduate). If you do not plan to attend the Commencement Ceremony, you must still apply to graduate.

A $12 graduation application fee will be added to your student bill when you apply for your degree. The fee will only be charged once per degree. Therefore, if you apply and then need to postpone your graduation, you will not be charged for the change.

Am I eligible to apply to graduate?

Undergraduate students must have a cumulative total of > 88 earned hours and graduate students must have 15 earned hours. It is recommended that undergraduates apply to graduate their first semester of their senior year.

Graduate students must be enrolled in the term in which they complete their graduate work or are scheduled to receive their degree. Please review Graduation Information for Graduate Students.

How do I apply for graduation?

The graduation application is submitted through Seanet. The link for the Graduation Application is under the Student Services & Financial Aid tab, click on Student Records, and then click on Apply to Graduate.
