Tao Yang
Assistant Professor
Dr. Yang joined the Cameron School of Business faculty in 2021 and supports the Human Resource Management concentration. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, specializing in organizational behavior and human resources. Dr. Yang was previously on the faculty at Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Dr. Yang's research focuses on ways to improve the quality of work life. He has published more than a dozen peer-reviewed academic articles and has received international awards for excellence in research, including S. Rains Wallace Dissertation Award Honorable Mention, Journal of Organizational Behavior’s Best Paper of 2022 Second Runner-up, and Literati Network Award for Excellence at Emerald Publishing.
Dr. Yang is passionate about teaching and enjoys class time tremendously. He regularly teaches courses in the areas of organizational behavior and human resource management. Dr. Yang was named a Person of Impact by the Cameron School of Business graduating seniors for two consecutive years.
