Amy B Van de Motter
Senior Lecturer
Amy has been a member of the UNCW School of Social Work faculty since 2017, where she primarily teaches Generalist and Direct Social Work Practice classes in the MSW program, and currently serves as the MSW Program Coordinator. Prior to working at UNCW, Amy practiced as a Clinical Social Worker, providing mental health support and therapy to adults. Her specialized areas of practice include working with individuals experiencing chronic mental health concerns and offering therapeutic support to older adults and their families. In addition to her role at UNCW, Amy currently works as a therapist, providing telehealth services to adult clients.
