Maintenance Weekend Aug. 9 (noon) – Aug. 12 (8 a.m.)

We will be performing maintenance work this weekend as part of our preapproved scheduled maintenance weekends. From Aug. 9 (noon) to Aug. 12 (8 a.m.), maintenance work will be conducted on various campus systems. These windows allow us to patch and upgrade UNCW systems, which are required to keep our systems and data secure and highly available.  

Maintenance windows are approved 3 years in advance by the Chancellor’s calendar committee. The dates selected are intended to minimize impact to the campus and allow for proper planning by the campus. 

How This Affects You: 

• All systems and services are subject to intermittent interruptions due to patching and reboots during the maintenance window.  
• Campus Wireless Networks will be intermittently impacted beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, over several hours.
• ImageNow and WebNow will be upgraded.
• Canvas and UNCW email will not be affected.
