The Dub Hub - World Language Resource Center

The Dub Hub is your gateway to mastering new languages. We offer language learners the chance to engage with native speakers for real-time conversation practice, helping you improve your listening and speaking skills in French, German, and Japanese.

Our supportive and welcoming environment ensures that you have the resources and encouragement you need to succeed. Additionally, The Dub Hub provides proctoring services for your world language classes.

Dub Hub Guidelines for Language Exchanges

  • Sign in with your language exchange leader when you arrive. You will need to know your professor's name and course number.
  • Expect to speak in the target language. Our language exchange leaders, who are international students, are eager to help you with everything from the basics to more advanced levels. Remember, it's all about progress, not perfection!
  • Our language exchange sessions are open for drop-in participation. However, students who book an appointment using Bookings (below) will be given priority.
  • To ensure a smooth experience, please avoid attending on assignment due dates without an appointment.
  • Each session accommodates up to five students and lasts for 30 minutes.

Dub Hub Guidelines for Proctoring

  • Sign in with the proctor when you arrive. You will need to know your professor's name and course number. 
  • Present your student ID or government-issued photo identification.
  • Inform the proctor of the specific quiz or test to be administered.
  • Turn in your cell phone.

Proctoring Space Warning
Please be aware that the proctoring space at The Dub Hub is not completely silent. There may be distractions due to ongoing language exchanges. If you require complete silence for your proctoring needs, we recommend seeking an alternative location. Thank you for your understanding.
