The Sociology & Criminology Department supports our students through encouraging scholarship and community service.

We offer several scholarship opportunities that highlight students' participation in their community as well as their participation in the classroom. If you're a student interested in a scholarship, we encourage you to apply.

The UNCW Sociology & Criminology Club serves to increase the awareness of criminal justice and sociological issues and concerns among the students of this university. The main focuses of the organization are career, community, and campus life.

Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) & Alpha Phi Sigma (APS)

Membership in these honor societies requires a GPA of 3.5 in their disciplines and are life-long members of these organizations.
