The Inclusive Community Committee (ICC) takes the lead in keeping student success, equity, and accessibility at the forefront of the division's work, decision making and events.
Purpose
The Inclusive Community Committee will lead efforts for Student Affairs staff to voluntarily participate in opportunities that expand knowledge and skill sets related to student success, equity, and accessibility. The committee's main goal will be to ensure that Student Affairs staff are well-equipped to meet students' needs and enable their success at UNCW. The committee will focus on educating staff in ways to foster an inclusive campus environment, understanding and addressing barriers to student success, and providing information about resources and support tailored to the needs of UNCW’s diverse student population.

One of the ways that we explore our personal commitment to student success, equity, and accessibility is through involvement with professional organizations. Another way that we can demonstrate this commitment is by supporting university and community organizations and events. The committee library offers books, educational/experiential games, and other varied resources for individual and departmental use. We invite you to take advantage of these resources throughout the year.
