Mohin-Scholz LGBTQIA Resource Office

Mission and Services

The Mohin-Scholz LGBTQIA+ Resource Office at the University of North Carolina Wilmington supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual and allied students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Our office works to create a safe and inclusive environment for the LGBTQIA+ community and contribute to a culturally rich campus. Additionally, the office works both to raise awareness and inclusion of sexual and gender minorities and to provide information, referral, support, and programming to the UNCW Community. We do this through community building, student advocacy, social justice and diversity education and the development of global citizens. All members of the UNCW campus are welcome, regardless of gender identity or other factors.
