The Classification and Compensation team develops and administers services, programs, and consultative solutions centered around thoughtful human resources principles and practices; optimizing processes and for our campus partners to create a knowledgeable and empowered community.

Classification & Compensation Consultants provide consultative services to campus partners to design a variety of SHRA and EHRA Non Faculty positions while effectively administering to the State of North Carolina and UNC System classification and compensation plans and policies.  Through this administering process we are responsible for maintaining fair and equitable classification and salary decisions for the University’s workforce.
