Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Candidate Support

UNCW has made the commitment to support National Board Certified Teachers seeking renewal in their final years of certification. National Board is launching their new 5 year Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program this year! Our program provides a free information session for candidates and a series of fee-based workshops. 2020-2021 Information Session for National Board MOC Candidates!
The UNCW National Board Support Program will host a free information session for candidates eligible for recertification on December 3rd, from 4:30-6:30 PM via Zoom. To register for the session please click the link below.

2021 Maintenance of Certification Candidate Workshops
Agenda items for renewal support workshops include an overview of the NEW process and expectations, a self-examination of professional growth experiences, a review and application of the 5 Core Propositions, as well as information on writing standards-based responses. Workshops for MOC Candidates will begin in January 2021.

You can register for all sessions or individual sessions. Please note the registration deadline one week prior to each session.

To register please click the link below. Choose the session package or individual sessions you plan to attend and click the ENROLL button. If you have never registered for a course/session through UNCW conference services you will need to create an account. Once an account is created you will be able to enroll in the sessions by adding them to your cart and completing payment. You will receive an automated email confirmation of your payment and registration once your enrollment is complete. Confirmation with additional information will be emailed to you during the week prior to your session.
