CMS Research :: Marine Mammal Stranding Program
The Marine Mammal Stranding Program at UNCW investigates strandings to improve human's understanding of the biology of marine mammals that inhabit local North Carolina waters, so that we may enhance their conservation. Researchers also educate students through their participation in marine mammal stranding investigations.
The program is made up of student volunteers, faculty and staff in the Department of Biology and Marine Biology.
