Science Olympiad
The Wilmington Regional Science Olympiad will take place on Saturday, March 10th, 2018. Please put this date on your calendar. This is an opportunity for you to share your knowledge and experiences with budding adolescent scientists!
UNCW will again host close to 1,000 high school and middle school students, parents, local teachers, and administrators from our Wilmington area. Science Olympiad is a targeted opportunity to both serve and recruit interested students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
2018 event leaders and helpers needed for all the events at the regional Science Olympiad (there are 46 different events). If you are again interested in volunteering to assist with an event, please e-mail Dennis Kubasko at kubaskod@uncw.edu or better yet, use the sign-up genius here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4facac28abf85-wilmington.
Did your middle school or high school compete in Science Olympiad? If so, then you know what I mean! If not, then it is time to find out why Science Olympiad is the most important science competition around!
