Homecoming Fun Run, Walk, or Roll

On Tuesday February 7, 2023, join fellow Seahawks in a fun run, walk, or roll event located through the heart of campus.  The First 250 Students to register receive a free t-shirt and all student participants will be entered into a raffle drawing for a portable hammock.  Note: T-Shirt sizes are limited and will be given on a first come first serve basis.

Think you and your friends have Seahawk Spirit? Come show us! Between 6:00 - 6:45pm strut your spirit in front of our judges and showcase why you have the most spirit. A top prize will be given to the most spirited individual Seahawk and to the most spirited flock of Seahawks (group up to 4). Winners will receive:

  • Flock: 4 Tickets to the Men’s Basketball Homecoming Game
  • Individual: Yeti 30oz Teal - Rambler Tumbler

This homecoming event is open to all of our seahawks and encourage students who may need mobility assistance ‘roll’ to join in the fun.

  • Check-In & Same Day Registration: 6:00 - 6:30 PM
  • Event Warm Up: 6:45 PM
  • Event Start: 7:00 PM

LSRC General Activities

Recreational Courts that are scheduled "free play" are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Volleyball, Badminton, and Pickleball nets can be set up on request if a court is available. 

Pickleball

Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played with a paddle and perforated ball similar to a Wiffle Ball. Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles.

Badminton

Badminton is a racket sport that can be played as singles or doubles. The goal of the game is similar to tennis and table tennis.

Interested in playing Pickleball or Badminton? Check-in with the Member Services Desk to see what courts are available for free-play. 

Racquetball

Racquetball is a racket sport similar to handball, squash, tennis, and badminton however there is no net to hit the ball over. There are three racquetball courts located upstairs adjacent to the Cardio Deck. 

Equipment Check-Out

Racquetball (rackets and racquetballs), volleyballs, badminton rackets and birdies, Basketballs (men's and women's) and indoor soccer balls are available for check out at the Member Services Desk. Members may checkout equipment only for themselves and their guests. Once an item is checked out, that member is solely responsible for it. Table tennis paddles are also available to be checked out at the Member Services Desk, however, balls are .25 cents each and available at the table tennis tables on the second floor.
