Transfer Credit Limits
- Two-Year Institutions/Community Colleges
A maximum of 64 semester hours of credit may be awarded to students who have pursued their education at a two-year institution. - Four-year institutions/Colleges & Universities
A maximum of 90 semester hours of credit may be awarded to students who have pursued their education at a four-year institution. - Please note: Grades below a 'C' including 'C-' are not transferable.
Re-Enrolling Credit Transfer
If you have attended another college or university since last attending UNCW, you will need to have official transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions as part of the application process. If readmitted, the Office of the Registrar will evaluate your transcripts to determine what credit is transferable and how it will apply toward UNCW degree requirements.
