This degree is intended to give intensive training in either the biological or physical sciences.
Address issues affecting coastal communities around the world through the application of geological and physical oceanography, coastal management curriculum, applied physics and civil and ocean engineering fundamentals.
Our faculty also contribute to the Master of Science in Marine Science program. You might consider getting a bachelor's degree with an option in physical oceanography and then going on to obtain an M.S. in Marine Science with an option in physical oceanography.
