Whether you are a recent graduate in cybersecurity or a technology professional ready to specialize, UNCW’s Graduate Certificate in Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity delivers advanced, domain-specific expertise that the market is actively seeking.

The program offers four focused tracks: Organizational Security (CISSP-aligned), Maritime Cybersecurity, Operational Technology (OT) Security and IoT Security, each designed to build on an existing technical foundation and translate it into specialized, employer-ready credentials.

The maritime and critical infrastructure cyber sector is critically short of professionals who combine cybersecurity fundamentals with domain-specific expertise; this program directly addresses that gap. Offered jointly by UNCW’s CSB and CSE this certificate serves two career moments equally well: launching a specialized career after a cybersecurity undergraduate degree, or pivoting an established technology career toward maritime, industrial and critical infrastructure security roles that command premium compensation and face structural undersupply of qualified talent through at least 2030.
