MSCSIS Program Overview

The program prepares you to work as a:

Business technology analysts assist in technology integration, including overseeing a company's current IT systems to ensure technology-related goals are met.

Security Analysts work to identify and correct flaws and develop solutions in a company's security system.

Software engineers develop, design and test software applications. They apply engineering principles to the process of building software.

Software quality assurance engineers and testers work to identify glitches and errors that prevent apps and computer programs from working as intended.

Learn to code and test software to ensure functionality and update software programs to refine cybersecurity and data storage capacities.

Alumni go on to further graduate study and careers in academia.

Solve problems using advanced mathematics and computer information systems-based techniques

Demonstrate knowledge of ethics and professionalism, and understand green computing, data security, privacy and compliance

Complete analysis and design of business processes employing the latest information technology techniques
