CAE Curriculum Path (2023-2028 designation - under review)

Students completing the IT Major with Cybersecurity Concentration will graduate with skills required by the CAE-CD criteria. The courses mapped to CAE-CD criteria are:

How Do I Major in Information Technology?

  • Log onto MySeaport and click on the Academics Tab at the top of the screen
  • Click on the "Major Declaration/Curricular Updates" link
  • Read and follow instructions
  • Click on "Understanding Majors and Degrees" if you have questions
  • Make selections in the drop down menus
  • Selections should be "Arts and Sciences", "Bachelor of Science", "Information Technology,” and then the current semester for the Catalogue year
  • Click "Declare Major" to save and finalize the request

Are You an International Student?

This is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security STEM designated program that allows eligible F1 international students to apply for a 24-month optional practical training extension.
