Career Paths for this Degree Include:

Supply chain managers are responsible for supporting a global network that produces and delivers products from raw materials to end customers, which ultimately impacts a company's bottom line. Supply chain managers engage in the design, planning, execution, control and supervision of supply chain activities with the objectives of creating value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand and measuring performance globally.

A production/operations manager is responsible for planning production schedules and ensuring that the production process is accomplished on budget and on time. In summary, they are responsible for keeping track of the big picture and identifying potential areas of improvement.

Sourcing managers are responsible for identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their quality and reliability, negotiating terms, and overseeing the creation of long-term relationships with preferred suppliers. They are also tasked with developing sourcing strategies that help their company reduce costs or improve efficiency. They commonly work in conjunction with other departments within their organization to ensure that everyone is on the same page when it comes to sourcing decisions.

Logistics managers supervise the in-bound and outbound movement, distribution, and shipping of a company’s inventory — typically raw materials, parts and products. They plan transportation and distribution routes, direct fleets, analyze budgets, and process shipments.
