Department of Music audition requirements for brass instruments are as follows.
Brass Audition Requirements
Perform two selections of contrasting styles that best represent your performance level. The compositions need not be long and may include a representative etude. You will be asked to perform major scales and sight-read passages chosen to suit your technical capabilities.
The following repertoire is encouraged but not required. Substitutions of equal difficulty and style are welcome.
French Horn Repertoire:

Trumpet Repertoire:

Jazz Studies Audition Requirements
Play (with correct melody, chord changes and improvisation) at least one prepared piece (of your choice, from the recommended repertoire); and improvise on a jazz blues progression in the concert key of B-flat, F, or C.
