Graduates of the English teacher licensure track graduate with a North Carolina professional teaching license which is transferrable to most states in the U.S.

Graduates of the English professional writing track are experienced with writing, researching and structuring long-form technical content for a business audience.

Graduates of the English professional writing track are familiar online systems and digital platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud which make them qualified for managing content across a variety of digital and social media communication.

Entry-level positions in libraries, archives and museums require familiarity with research processes, and close-reading skills, as well as cultural competencies and interdisciplinary knowledge.
