Department of Mathematics & Statistics

Our department offers programs leading to undergraduate degrees in mathematics, statistics and teacher licensure, as well as a graduate degree in mathematics and a graduate certificate in applied statistics.

Students graduating from these programs have had universal success finding jobs as actuaries, teachers, SAS programmers, biostatisticians, analysts and much more. In addition, our program is also successful preparing students for future graduate studies in mathematics, mathematics education, statistics and computer science.

The department has reputable faculty members in teaching, as well as in academia and industry. Beyond the classrooms, we provide students with research and internship opportunities. Students conduct their research at the undergraduate level with faculty members as a part of their capstone projects.
