- Jamie Slominski MA '15 has accepted the position of Area Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Onslow County.
- Robert Hicks MA '13 Social Research Assistant for Applied Learning. Assists Applied Learning in continuously improving program outcomes through both quantitative and qualitative assessment and measurement, researches the impact and spread of Applied Learning across the UNCW campus, and provides research support for Applied Learning, UNCW's Quality Enhancement Plan.
- Josh Welker MA '13 in Criminology has accepted a position as a statistical analyst with the Arizona Supreme Court.
- Amanda Smith MA '13 is a Research Analyst at Research Triangle Institute in Cary, North Carolina.
- Collin McColskey-Leary MA '13 in Criminology was hired as the research and evaluation specialist for Communities in Schools (CIS) of North Carolina, based in Raleigh.
- Hillary Geen MA '13 Public Sociology works as a research assistant for Credo, a higher education consulting firm.
- Jan Brewington '13 MA Public Sociology was hired as the coordinator for the "Parents as Teachers" program run by Smart Start of New Hanover County here in Wilmington.

- Brandon Bell BA '11 Public Sociology received his M.Ed in Higher Education this spring and will begin the CAPS program in the fall. He was also elected to be the Equity and Inclusion Member at Large for the North Carolina College Personnel Association (NCCPA) where he will coordinate aspects of equity and inclusion.
- Alicia Larkins MA '10 Data Analyst for Bioinformatics LLC conducting survey creation, implementation and analysis.
- Lindsey Martin MA '10 graduate Associate Project Director at Danya International, in charge of overseeing all day-to-day aspects of two SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) Grants from NIH.
- Brendan Roth BA '08 Is a Special Agent in federal law enforcement with the U.S. Department of Justice.
- Amanda Long BA '06 Criminal Justice and MA '09 MCPS has accepted a position as a financial crimes analyst with Wells Fargo in Charlotte.
- Liz Cherry BA Sociology program with a double major of Sociology and French, and went on to get a full scholarship and graduate assistantship to attend the University of Georgia where she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology, and is now Assistant Professor of Sociology at Manhattanville College in New York, a prestigious liberal arts college with a strong Sociology department.
