Taking Care is an award-winning documentary exploring Alzheimer's and the power of love. Directed and produced by filmmaker James Keach, Taking Care follows Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen as they confront the progression of Lauren’s mother’s Alzheimer’s. Through heartfelt interviews with their families, candid moments with friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry, and expert medical perspectives, the film offers a touching and enlightening look at the realities of caregiving, memory loss, and connection.
Following the 40 minute screening, Caregiver Academy will host an informal discussion, providing a supportive space for attendees to reflect and share their own experiences with aging and Alzheimer’s.
Please note: Some scenes may be emotionally difficult for caregivers and individuals living with dementia.
