From discovery and exploration to evaluating the effectiveness of a community-based program, research and innovation are vital to CHHS. And these important pillars can take many forms.
Research can include evidence-based practice and quality improvement projects, literature reviews and theoretical and conceptual works. Innovation can refer to developing a product, refining a service or using a specific approach to address a medical or health-related need such as designing a new treatment approach or improving a process.
Research and innovation go hand-in-hand. At CHHS, we provide the tools and pathways for students and faculty to explore, discover and change the world.
The CHHS Research and Innovation team can support faculty and staff research and innovation efforts by providing:
Pre-award grant support
Post-award grant support
Statistical support
Editing support
Faculty Success (formerly Digital Measures) support
Fostering research collaborations (e.g., Find a Collaborator Database)
Faculty writing circles
Coffee hour events
Promoting student-engaged scholarship
