Mathematics and Statistics Department

Our department offers programs leading to undergraduate degrees in mathematics, statistics, and teacher licensure, as well as a graduate degree in mathematics and a graduate certificate in applied statistics.

Students graduating from these programs have had universal success in finding jobs. These include employment as actuaries, teachers, SAS programmers, biostatisticians, analysts and much, much more. In addition to successfully placing students in jobs, our program is also successful in preparing students for future graduate studies in mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, and computer science.

The department has reputable faculty members in teaching, as well as in academia and industry. Beyond the classrooms, we provide students with research and internship opportunities. Students could conduct their research at the undergraduate level with faculty members as a part of their capstone projects.
