If you want to build a community of future teachers with whom you’ll discover your strengths, tackle tough questions, and engage in fun social events, the Education Learning Community (ELC) is for you.
This community is meant for students interested in any of the tracks within the education major.
What to Expect
You'll meet new friends who have similar interests in teaching as a career and develop lifelong friendships. The ELC helps you fast-track developing your networks early in college with mentoring from former ELC members and connections to Watson Faculty and Staff. You'll listen and share ideas that shape the future of education!
Courses
Non-Residential LLC for first year students
Scholars in the ELC can live anywhere on or off-campus and still be eligible to participate in the community. Scholars in the ELC will have the opportunity to request a roommate through housing and residence life and student success and retention.
