As chief academic officer for the university, the provost is actively engaged in a variety of formal and in-formal events, occurring both on and off campus. These events range widely: signature UNCW events (like graduation), luncheons, awards ceremonies, community service work sites, event opener, and expert panels are just a few examples.
At the end of each semester, the provost leads the university’s commencement ceremonies alongside the chancellor and other cabinet members.
Student showcases, performances, and meetings are constantly occurring across campus, and online!
The provost regularly attends honorary events dedicated to celebrating our students, staff, and/or faculty.
The provost enjoys attending signature campus events, as scheduling permits, to hear from students and experiencing the amazing work that keeps them engaged.
The synergy between the Wilmington community and our university offers incredible paths for continual and mutually beneficial engagement.
