This year the Fall Faculty Meeting will be held at 4:00 pm. Immediately following, we will celebrate our colleagues who earned promotions, tenure, and successful post-tenure review. All faculty are invited! Please join us in celebrating your colleagues! Please submit your RSVP here.

Waves of Distinction Celebration

On September 10, 2026 the Office of Faculty Affairs celebrated 135 faculty who received promotion, tenure, or successful post-tenure review in the 2025-2026 academic year! Congratulations!

New Faculty Orientation

On August 5-6, 2026, UNCW welcomed 74 new faculty to the Seahawk community. The two-day orientation introduced faculty to the important aspects of life at UNCW and provided an opportunity to network with new and existing faculty members.
