The North Carolina Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) is a statewide agreement governing the transfer of credit between the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) and the public universities that make up the University of North Carolina System. This agreement establishes college transfer courses that are accepted by all UNC System institutions from all 58 NC community colleges. Students who complete the degree requirements will have certain guarantees that credits earned will transfer to UNCW. Admission to the university does not constitute admission to a professional school or specific program.
UNCW Bilateral Articulation Agreement
Transfer students who have obtained an Associate of Arts, Science or Fine Arts degree with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in transferable, college-level coursework from one of the community colleges listed below will obtain the following benefits upon their acceptance to UNCW:

Uniform Articulation Agreement - Associate in Fine Arts

This articulation agreement describes a progression degree plan that includes required teacher education degree plans and pre-major courses that are acceptable to all state funded teacher education program options. Students who follow the progression degree plan will have 60 hours applied to constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina System.
