As the Associate Provost of IRP, I direct the university’s data collection, reporting and analysis functions and oversee internal and external reporting. I previously worked as the Director of Assessment, Research, and Planning for the Division of Student Affairs at UNCW for 5 years. Prior to that role, I did my doctoral studies at Florida State University in Higher Education, where I also earned a Certificate in Institutional Research. I currently teach graduate courses at both Florida State and UNCW.
Provides administrative support services to the Associate Provost and the staff of the Office of Institutional Research and Planning including travel and reimbursement processing, departmental purchasing, leavekeeping and general clerical support.
As part of the Institutional Research and Planning Team, I oversee all institutional research efforts including data analysis, reporting, visualization, and consultation. Institutional Research and Analytics partners with leadership across the institution in decision-making support. Prior to coming to UNCW, I earned my Doctorate at Endicott College (Boston, MA), directed institutional research efforts at institutions within the University of Wisconsin System, and lead a TRiO program focused on preparing low-income and first-generation students for postsecondary success.
I am responsible for loading and maintaining our Sql server database. I am the HR Datamart liaison to the system office for IRP. Using Sas, Excel, SSDT, and Power Query, I write reports for internal and external clients.
I provide campus data to some external surveys that come through our office, as well as help with compiling data for the Common Data Set, Delaware Study and IPEDS. I also work with OUR and other areas on campus to determine the methodology and data sources for newly released rankings. When needed, I assist with ad hoc requests.
My role in the IR Analytics team is to help the decision makers make informed decisions and support strategic planning. As data analytics specialist I am responsible for analyzing and reporting on student success measures such as retention and graduation; building Tableau dashboards; collecting and reporting data for various external surveys; contributing in enrollment projections; and working on ad-hoc data requests. I have expertise in data mining, statistical research and visualizations.

Reporting Services focuses on coordinating and managing the Student Data Mart submission process for UNCW; maintaining consistency in the reporting of student enrollment data for institutional and external constituents, and UNCW and UNC System strategic metrics; answering ad-hoc data requests; and partnering with IRP units to develop meaningful data visualizations via Tableau.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Edinboro University before obtaining a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. After spending many vacations in the Wilmington area, I love calling Wilmington home. I use Python, Excel, SQL and other tools to provide data to the UNCW internal and external clients.

I earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geology from UNCW. I assist in maintaining the departmental database. My other duties include assisting with the Student Data Mart submission process, data validation, and ad-hoc data requests from internal and external clients. My tools of preference for data collection and analysis are SQL, Excel and SAS.
As part of the Institutional Research and Planning team, I oversee all research and assessment initiatives that support accreditation and institutional effectiveness. Prior to coming to UNCW, I earned my Doctorate at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) and directed research and assessment initiatives at institutions within the Maryland Higher Education System. I currently teach undergraduate courses at the UMGC.
As an Institutional Effectiveness Research Analyst, I provide data analysis, reports, presentations, and dashboards to support strategic planning and accreditation. Another essential function of my role provides leadership, training and technical support for the Watermark Faculty Success platform. I earned a BA from Appalachian State and an MA from Tennessee Tech University. Before coming to UNCW, I served in various departments in higher education including academic advisement, strategic planning, institutional research. As a faculty member, I have also taught Critical Thinking, English, Reading, and First -Year Experience courses.
As an Institutional Effectiveness Research Analyst, I work with faculty and staff to improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes, coordinate administration of national and regional surveys, provide survey, IDEA course evaluation, and Qualtrics support to the university community, and build informative Tableau dashboards to provide insight and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University, Master of Science from Louisiana State University, and Doctor of Philosophy in Adult and Higher Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma. In my spare time, I research financial issues and efficiency in intercollegiate athletics. I am also an avid curler.

As the Space Data and Reporting Analyst, I am responsible for the input and verification of data into space inventory database and preparation of annual and ad-hoc space reports as requested. I develop and implement data collection methods and procedures to measure data integrity reported to UNC System Office regarding UNCW's physical space inventory. I collaborate and coordinate with campus units to process spaces requests for short and long-term planning and academic space moves.

As the Academic Space Manager, I consult with campus leadership to ensure space is managed strategically, thoughtfully, and with broader institutional needs in mind. I manage and maintain the academic space module for the Event Management Systems (EMS) through collecting and analyzing data along with reporting on space utilization. I also provide guidance to space stewards concerning scheduling of academic facilities.
As the Interim Facilities Coordinator for Space Planning and Management I assist the Academic Space Manager with classroom management and space utilization. I also work with campus and student organizations to utilize academic spaces for meetings/events and make recommendations for space usage.
