Breakout sessions and workshops will provide members of the academic advising community multiple opportunities to enhance their professional development and overall well-being.  We are looking for interactive and engaging presentations to highlight the advising profession.  Successful proposal themes may include: students in academic jeopardy, NextGen advising, advising and student retention, advising unique student populations, managing transition/culture shock/stress, online advising vs. in-person advising, and more.  If you're interested - we are still accepting program proposals and presentations.  Please use this link to submit your program proposal and reach out to Dr. Jamie Pond (pondj@uncw.edu) if you have any questions.
