Banner Faculty Load & Compensation (FLAC)

At UNCW, Banner FLAC is used to capture...

  • All instructional assignments for employees designated as instructor of record in Banner (with the exception of graduate students)
  • All non-instructional assignments (not for course credit) for EHRA employees whose home department/primary assignment in Banner is within Academic Affairs.

Additional assignments (including teaching for graduate students), and non-instructional assignments for SHRA exempt & EHRA whose home department is outside of Academic Affairs will be captured through EPAF (Electronic Personnel Action Form). Determining FLAC or EPAF

FLAC Training Request please note- FLAC Training should only be requested for those in Academic Affairs who will be actively entering FLAC assignments as part of their full-time duties.

Users in divisions outside of Academic Affairs, hiring currently active UNCW EHRA employees whose primary assignment is in Academic Affairs, please complete the FLAC Information Template.
