Stop How Now at UNCW

UNCW has hosted several successful Stop Hunger Now meal packaging programs in the past. At these events, we focused on combining rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a flour mix into small meals that will be sent to domestic and international locations for those in need. Our most recent event was held April 8th, 2017 in Hanover Gym. With the help of about 60 volunteers, we packaged almost 9,000 meals. At the 2016 event, we packaged more than 34,000 meals with the help of about 80 volunteers. Both of these events could not have happened without the support of our Fraternity and Sorority community, who contributed a combined $6,000 towards the initiative.
