Time-Limited Teacher Data Analyst
The Watson College of Education(WCE) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (www.uncw.edu/ed) is a growing college with over 60 tenure-track faculty members working in undergraduate and master’s programs in the Departments of Early Childhood and Special Education, Elementary, Middle Grade and Literacy Education, and Instructional Technology, Foundations and Secondary Education, and master’s and doctoral programs in the Department of Educational Leadership. It offers several international study programs and maintains partnerships with 12 school districts and all community colleges in the region.
We are searching for an outstanding Teacher Data Analyst to fill a time-limited position starting in January 2013. The person will serve as the accreditation evidences liaison for the College and will monitor and respond to: 1) changes in data collection and reporting from a campus and national view, 2) strategic educational standards and objectives set forth by state and local accreditation bodies, 3) the infrastructure and information guidelines set forth and managed by the UNCW Information Technology System Unit, and 4) advances in data analysis and data presentation.
Master’s degree in Education, Information Technology or related field required. Preferred qualifications include: familiarity with Dreamweaver and Adobe Acrobat software; knowledge of and experience with higher education accreditation; and experience with evidence creation and alignment for public schools or higher education.
