The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position in Operations Management at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin August 1st 2010. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Operations Management are preferred. ABD’s will be considered. Candidates must show promise of excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, be able to teach in the following areas; logistics and distribution management, transportation management and supply chain management, and must have a focused research agenda with strong potential for publication.

UNCW boasts a beautiful 661 acre wooded campus with approximately 12,000 students, and is one of the fastest growing institutions in the University of North Carolina System. The Cameron School of Business is AACSB accredited, and serves more than 1,600 business majors, as well as graduate students in the MSCSIS, MBA, IMBA and M.S. Accounting programs. The Wilmington metropolitan area comprises approximately 175,000 people and features a thriving port, business community, and tourism industry. The city is rich in history and tradition, offers an outstanding quality of life, and provides the cultural amenities of a large city.
