LA-based Contra-Tiempo returns to Wilmington with their powerful and relevant new work Full. Still. Hungry. Utilizing the company’s unique blend of Salsa, Afro-Cuban and Urban dance styles, Full. Still. Hungry. explores the real price we pay for the food we eat, through a tapestry of high-energy dance set to pulsating rhythms, striking imagery and evocative spoken word.

Contra-Tiempo is a multi-cultural dance company that brings to life voices that are not traditionally heard on the concert stage. While their performances are consistently electrifying, what sets the company apart is its unique ability to inspire youth and facilitate community dialogues about relevant and timely issues.

Registration
