Executive Assistant to the Provost
Sharon joined the Office of the Provost in August 2005 following nine years of service in the Office of the Dean, College of Arts & Sciences. As Executive Assistant to the Provost, she focuses on personal management of the Provost’s time and workflow; manages the day-to-day coordination of the Provost’s schedule; and provides research and analysis to the Provost as needed. She works with the Provost to develop and drive her personal communication internally and externally, including composing and editing correspondence, speeches, and executive communications. She provides administrative support for travel, searches, special events and meetings, including those of the Educational Planning and Program Committee of the Board of Trustees. She is responsible for facilitating the flow of accurate communication between Academic Affairs, on-campus administrators, UNC General Administration, faculty, staff, students and parents.
Sharon Graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education. She earned a Master of Education Degree from SUNY Cortland.
