WILMINGTON, N.C.— Anna Maria Hong, poet, writer, and Ecotone contributor, will hold a Q&A at 12:30 p.m. on Monday February 4 at the Randall Library Auditorium, room 2147, and will read later that evening at 7 p.m., in Kenan Hall 1111.

Anna Maria Hong’s first poetry collection, Age of Glass, won the Cleveland State University Poetry Center’s First Book Poetry Competition and was published in April 2018. Her novella, H & G, won the A Room of Her Own Foundation’s Clarissa Dalloway Book Prize and was published in May 2018. Her second poetry collection, Fablesque, won Tupelo Press’s Berkshire Prize and is forthcoming in early 2020. A former Bunting Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, she has published poetry, fiction, and essay in the Nation, the Iowa Review, Poetry, The Best American Poetry 2013, and many other places. She joined Bennington College’s Department of Literature faculty in July 2018.

These events are free and open to the public. A reception sponsored by the department and book signing sponsored by Pomegranate Books will follow the reading.
