Leadership Essentials for Nurses

This interactive leadership development experience will engage participants in videos, online discussions, and self-assessments. The Swain Center welcomes Director Richard Walsh

Richard Walsh has over 20 years of industry experience providing advanced expertise in leadership solutions, organizational transformation and executive coaching. Rich served as a senior executive of strategy, human resources, leadership and organizational development at AT&T, GE and Bull of France. He then served as associate dean of a top-ranked, U.S. business school, where he led a consortium for executive education. Rich also served for fourteen years as a senior faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Rich has experience as an executive coach and coaching practice leader. He regularly applies his experience in the public and private sectors including: healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services, education, energy, consumer goods, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, high-technology, telecommunications, government, defense, not-for-profit and consulting services. He works with a diverse portfolio of global clients including large, mid-size and high-growth organizations. He also holds a number of professional certifications and works on several international boards. Rich has published numerous articles and papers, including one of CCL’s Top 10 most read papers, Leading with Impact.
