How to complete an IRBIS application

The research integrity team created a video for new human subjects researchers seeking information on IRB concepts and step-by-step instructions and tips on completing an application in the IRBIS system.

Anthropological research demands ethical practice as well as the protection of human subjects. Amy Evans, Research Compliance Specialist at UNCW, visited the ANT 445 PRACTICING ETHNOGRAPHY course. She gave a highly informative lecture on the significance of the requirement to protect the rights of human subjects used in research. She also answered Student questions about the federally mandated Institutional Review Board (IRB) and informed consent documents.
