Katrin Wesner-Harts, Ed.D., Director
Dr. Wesner-Harts is responsible for the management of the Abrons Student Health Center which includes medical services, pharmacy, and health promotion. She is responsible for policy development and implementation, budget management, public relations, and personnel, Dr. Wesner-Harts has been with the Student Health Center since January 2007.

Dr. Harris Vick joins us from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where she obtained her doctorate in education. Dr. Harris Vick assists in daily operations as well as oversees the Lead Nurse, Pharmacist, and Lab Technician. Dr. Harris Vick has been with the Student Health Center since April 2023.

Tabitha oversees medical records, referrals and is the main point of contact for UNCW's Student Health Insurance Program(SHIP). Tabitha has been with the Student Health Center since January of 2015 and came to UNCW from a private practice.
Cassie Barker, Office Manager
Cassie has worked in healthcare for over twenty years and has been with the Student Health Center since 2013. She provides support with daily office operations, handles budget and inventory and assists medical records staff when needed.
Kimberly Davis, MD
Dr. Davis is the Medical Director at the Student Health Center and provides direct patient care to students. Dr. Davis has been with the Student Health Center since August 2025.
Christi Ray, DO
Dr. Ray is a Physician in the Student Health Center providing direct patient care to students. Dr. Ray has been with the Student Health Center since November 2023.

Heather is a Physician Assistant in the Student Health Center providing direct patient care to students. She previously worked for Intracoastal Internal Medicine for the past 2 years. Prior to that Wilmington Gastroenterology for 15 years. Heather has been with the Student Health Center since October 2021.
Lora Hosler, PA-C
Lora is a Physician Assistant in the Student Health Center providing direct patient care for students. Lora is a UNCW alumnus and graduated from ECU’s Physician Assistant Program. Her clinical interests include Women’s Health, health education and wellness promotion. Lora has been with the Student Health Center since November 2016.
Katie Riley, FNP-BC
Katie is a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Student Health Center providing direct patient care to students. Katie graduated from Duke University and has special interest in Women’s Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health. She has been with the Student Health Center since October 2017.
Melissa Ulstad, PA-C, CAQ Psychiatry
Melissa is a Physician Assistant and is certified in general practice with a specialty certification in psychiatry. She diagnoses and treats physical and mental health issues that affect the mind and body placing an emphasis on patient education, prevention,

June is a staff nurse in the Student Health Center. June is a former OR Nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital with 10+ years of nursing experience. June has been with the Student Health Center since December 2017.
Kristin Hatley, R.N.
Kristin is a staff nurse in the Student Health Center and has been with the Student Health Center since August 2023.

Andrea is a medical assistant in the Student Health Center and has been with the Student Health Center since June 2025.

As a part of the Medical Records staff, Debbie shares the responsibility for all aspects of medical records from scheduling and checking in student appointments, answering the telephone, maintaining the patient charts, and assisting the students with immunization and insurance requirements. Debbie also works to help checkout students in the Pharmacy. Debbie has been with the Student Health Center since August 2021.
Shelby Kennedy
As a part of the Medical Records staff, Shelby shares the responsibility for all aspects of medical records from scheduling and checking in student appointments, answering the telephone, maintaining the patient charts, and assisting the students with immunization and insurance requirements. Shelby has been with the Student Health Center since May 2025.

Steve Davis

Steve has been with the Student Health Center since May 2025.
Garrett Rivenbark
As a part of the Medical Records staff, Garrett shares the responsibility for all aspects of medical records from scheduling and checking in student appointments, answering the telephone, maintaining the patient charts, and assisting the students with immunization and insurance requirements. Garrett is a UNCW alumnus and has been with the Student Health Center since July 2024.
Leah Giere
As a part of the Medical Records staff, Leah shares the responsibility for all aspects of medical records from scheduling and checking in student appointments, answering the telephone, maintaining the patient charts, and assisting the students with immunization and insurance requirements. Leah also assists with special projects in the clinic. Leah has been with the Student Health Center since May 2024.
