Storm Surge Protectors official assessment sites have been selected using NOAA’s digital coast tool, which allowed us to determine what sites are frequently inundated by storm surge and flood waters during storm events. Storm Surge Protectors aims to add new sites each year, to expand the reach of this citizen science project.
