Latino Alliance

The mission of the Latino Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina is to build a stronger network among people and organizations that serve the Hispanic/Latino community in the region, and to empower local citizens and organizations that serve the Hispanic/Latino community by creating positive change in areas of education, business, health care, safety, and community building.

Led by the University of North Carolina Wilmington, the Latino Alliance currently serves the role of a network and a platform from which to access resources, share information, and discuss issues, both of progress and of challenges still to overcome.

La misión de la Alianza Latina del sudeste de Carolina del Norte es construir una red entre personas y organizaciones que están involucradas en la comunidad Hispana/Latina de la región y fortalecer a las organizaciones y ciudadanos locales llevando a cabo cambios en las áreas de educación, negocios, seguridad y atención médica y forjar lazos en la comunidad.

En la actualidad, la Alianza latina, dirigida por la Universidad de Carolina del Norte Wilmington, es una red y plataforma desde donde la comunidad puede acceder a recursos, compartir información y discutir tanto temas de progreso como de barreras que todavía quedan por superar.

The Latino Alliance is a proud member of the FaithAction ID Network, a collection of nonprofit organizations, faith communities, and community groups in numerous cities across the nation that have been trained to utilize the same FaithAction ID drive and dialogue model.
