Resources for Off-Campus Students

Welcome to living off campus!

Living off campus provides students many important skills that may help them later in life. Living independent of formalized supervision, learning how to read and interpret a lease/contract, and experiencing the greater Wilmington community are all advantages to off campus living.

There are also things about living off campus that students must be aware of, such as personal safety and ordinances.

Good Neighbor

Learn to be a good off-campus neighbor. Hear from other Wilmington residents who welcome UNCW students to live in the areas surrounding campus. 

It's important to be aware of your code, zoning and parking regulations when living off campus. Always be considerate of your neighbors and other Wilmington residents when parking. 

Stay compliant with local trash and noise ordinances when living off campus. Be sure to clean up after gatherings and be mindful of loud music and games.
