Welcome Seahawks! We are excited that you will soon be living with us on campus for the academic year.

Move-In Volunteer Information 2026

You may have heard that Move In at the Dub has changed! While we will not need the volume of volunteers to assist with unloading vehicles,  we will need additional support with our operation, specifically with managing our Move In Zones and the Student Arrival and Check In Processes. 

Move-in volunteering is open to Seahawk community members, including faculty, staff, and student leaders.  Please consider volunteering and helping to welcome our new Seahawks Home!  All volunteers will receive a lunch ticket and a 2026 Move-In T-Shirt.  Volunteer spots are available daily from Wednesday, August 12th - Saturday, August 15th.  The first shift is from 7:30am – 12pm and the second shift is from 12:30-5pm.   

Register to Volunteer

Volunteers should check in with their Zone Captain at their respective zone 30 minutes before the start of their shift.  We suggest all volunteers bring with them a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and hat, as well as comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, and any other items they wish to have with them at Move-In.
