The Black Faculty and Staff Association improves the Black experience at UNCW by fostering a campus climate that is inviting, unified and encouraging and promotes upward mobility. The association facilitates mentoring, encourages recruitment and retention, highlights issues and provides Black perspectives, and connects the university and the community.
International Faculty and Staff Association
Formed in 2017, the International Faculty and Staff Association provides international faculty and staff a supportive on-campus network. The association aims to increase the awareness of international issues by promoting academic and cultural programs for campus constituents and the community. The association also serves as a liaison between all international faculty and staff and the UNCW administration.
