Host an Event

As our largest single room, our comfortable event space is perfect for hosting conferences, receptions, or whatever your business needs. It can seat up to 100 people in theater-style seating, as well as accommodating classroom-style, workgroup-style, and reception-style layouts. The event space is rented to companies, community groups, and UNCW departments as available.

The event space is equipped for video or conference calls, session recording, and displaying presentations. Updated in June 2024, now featuring a high-tech video wall and multiple cameras, speakers, and microphones throughout the room, the CIE event space is even better equipped for presentations and can stream or record sessions.

The Retreat is the perfect place for an in-person private team retreat, board meeting, or innovative work session.

It can accommodate up to 25 people and includes a conference room, two small private offices for break out sessions, and a small kitchenette. It includes a large presentation screen with a sound system and webcam capabilities, and plenty of white boards for your work session.

If you are looking for a standalone suite to move your business, organization, or collaborative group forward, this is the space for you!

Our Rising Tide conference room is perfect for smaller groups and can comfortably seat 10-12 people. This room is also equipped for video calls and provides various options for displaying presentations, including a Smart board.

• $300 half day (up to 4 hours)
• $500 full day (4-8 hours)

Rising Tide Conference Room

• $150 half day (up to 4 hours)
• $300 full day (4-8 hours)

Fee includes parking, Wi-Fi, and trained event space assistants for set up and take down. $100/hour each hour above 8 hours for Event Space or Retreat. $60/hour each hour above 8 hours for Rising Tide Conference Room.

Discounts available:

• 10% for CIE Members and nonprofits
• 10% for multi-day use, consecutive days only
• 50% for UNCW groups
• Up to 100% for UNCW and non-profit entrepreneurial ecosystem partners for entrepreneurial and business development programs, with recognition of CIE co-sponsorship.

Discount must be requested during reservation process and prior to facility use agreement issuance.
