Earn Credit by Examination
Advanced Placement Program
An entering freshman may receive semester hour credits based on Advanced Placement Examination of ETS. These examinations are taken prior to the student's high school graduation. Information on this examination program may be obtained from the high school counselor. High school seniors who take Advanced Placement Examinations should have test scores sent to the University of North Carolina Wilmington Office of the Registrar for placement and credit evaluation. By scoring 3 or higher on the ETS Advanced Placement Examination, students will be awarded credit as follows:
